This is for Anonymous - about wearing hijab:

I became Muslim in 2004, and I was sure I would not wear hijab for many years. When the time finally came that I WANTED to wear a scarf, I was still too scared, but I wore what we call a "do-rag" type style, which was sort of tight to the head, with a nice knot in the back (you pin it behind your head, then twist the two ends together, then wrap them to form a big "knot" at the back of your head). It was easier to go to work that way, because it didn't look "obvious."

Insha Allah, may Allah make it easy for you, but remember to just ask Allah for help, and do not do something you are not ready for, because it may cause you more anxiety. And Allahu alim.

Jazakallah. The 'How to wear a hijab section really helped me. I've always wanted to know how to have a bit hanging at the front. Thanks again. Allahafiz.

Assalamu'alaikum, I just want to say that I'm satisfied with my purchases in Trendy Hijab. I already purchased two slim scarves and two underscarves here, and no complaint. If I may suggest though, it would be great if Trendy Hijab also sell turtlenecks t-shirts to go along with the slim scarves. If it's okay, one more suggestion, it would also be wonderful if Trendy Hijab sell slim scarves in plain colors (without any motif, maybe just simple beads),that way we could wear the plain slim scarves with our already full motifs dresses. Thank you. Wassalamu'alaikum.

To anonymous, I know it is a big step to wear the Hijab and you may not be totally ready, but at least try to wear it so often, start by going to the Masjid, then to the store, then out with friends, you can tell your friends and family that you are trying it out to see how you feel so you dont feel committed, and inshallah you will find yourself wearing it all the time and be comfortable with it. Also if you try to wear in trendy ways like a bandana or a headwrap it may be easier to start with as it does not look too traditional if you are young. Best of luck Inshallah.
